Welcome to the Meadowcroft Farm

"I raise fine wool sheep, grass-fed and sustainable, on my hill in Midcoast Maine. The fiber is bred and blended for its soft hand and functional durability, and commercially spun into a lightweight worsted yarn. Solar dyed in seawater vats, soft colors are gently melted into each dyelot to create visual texture for a complimentary look and feel. My sweater designs are simple and sweet, timeless with a twist, some fitted, some draped, to honor any body type, and finished with hand crochet of an accent color or my handspun luxury fibers of silk, alpaca, merino, or blends. Button accents are often handmade and chosen for each piece- seaglass, colorful ceramic, beachstone with silver wire, collected antiques, or precious metal clay." Nanney Kennedy
