About Madame Curie

It’s a coat, it’s a shirt, it’s SUPER sweet! Just plain Jane in one SEACOLORS variegated dyelot, this can be finished with crochet contrast or piping trim. Color blocked, or in a striped pattern, the seaglass, beachstone or vintage buttons make this a summer jacket you can wear all year without wearing out its welcome. A Cardigan knit from the bottom up in 5 pieces with optional striping.

Yarn: Seacolors by GetWool.com (100% wool; 4oz = approx 270 yards) 2 (2, 3, 3) MC, 1 (1, 1,1) in each of the contrast colors.

Needles: US 9 (5.5mm) or size to obtain gauge.

Other Materials: Waste yarn, darning needle, 5 (5, 6, 6) Buttons and optional row counter.

Gauge: 14sts and 22 rows = 4″ in st st.
